宣传知识产权，推进法律顾问标准化，引导企业与国际接轨，一直是张民元律师的心愿。2009年，张民元律师在浙江省司法厅、浙江省科技厅、浙江省知识产权局的联合指导下，组织策划由浙江省律师协会在浙江省范围内开展知识产权宣传巡回演讲，活动得到浙江省委的表彰，并受到国务院知识产权战略实施工作部际联席会议办公室发文表彰，该宣讲活动已开展八年，现仍在每年的知识产权宣传周稳步实施。

2016年，张民元律师协助中华全国律师协会申报了社会管理与公共服务综合标准化试点，得到国家标准委的立项，张民元律师担任全国律师协会标准化专家工作组组长，致力于推进法律顾问服务标准化工作。

从业二十年，张民元律师以浙江素豪律师事务所专业从事法律顾问的团队“中观法律顾问”为平台，与美国欧夏梁律师事务所(Osha Liang LLP)、法国基德律师事务所、巴西 César A. Leão Barcellos & Cia. Ltd、秘鲁 OMCABOGADOS & CONSULTORES、马来西亚 TIGER INTELLECTUAL SDN BHD、德国 Casalonga& Partners 等专利商标事务所在知识产权领域开展广泛合作，为企业申请马德里商标国际注册、PCT专利国际申请以及在各个国家单独申请商标注册和专利申请提供专业的法律帮助。

To publicize intellectual property rights, promote the standardization of legal counsel, and guide enterprises to integrate with the world, has always been the wish of Lawyer Zhang. In 2009, under the joint guidance of Department of Justice of Zhejiang Province, Department of Science of Zhejiang Province and Intellectual Property Office of Zhejiang Province, Lawyer Zhang organized intellectual property publicity speaking tour activities carried by the Lawyers Association in the scope of Zhejiang province, which was praised by Zhejiang Provincial Committee, and also recognized by the Intellectual Property Rights Strategy Implementation department, joint meeting office of the State Council. The activity has been carried out to preach for eight years, and it is still implemented steadily in the intellectual property rights of publicity week every year.

In 2016, Lawyer Zhang assisted All China Lawyers Association to declare the comprehensive standardization pilot project of social management and public service, which gained approval from the National Standard Committee. Furthermore, Lawyer Zhang became the leader of standardization expert working group, devoting himself to promote the standardization work of legal consultancy services.
